Summer is almost over! What are your plans for the rest of it?
You might be enjoying the lazy days of summer until the 11th while Mercury is still retrograde in Leo. Remember, anything you start during mercury retrograde will have delays. Travel, jobs, cars, electronics, everything! So, make sure you plan for extra time in your endeavors until then. Leo is the drama queen of the zodiac and can stir the pot when it comes to communication. Be careful with what you say and beware of overreacting.
Venus the goddess of love is in Cancer and will meet up in the sky with Jupiter on the 11th for a beautiful conjunction, bringing luck, money and love to the water signs. This conjunction will influence all of us. Pay attention to where 13° Cancer is in your chart! This will be a great time to set things in motion that you’ve been putting on hold because of mercury retrograde. On the 25th, she will burst into fiery Leo where she can be flirtatious in the spotlight.
Mars the God of desire and conflict will be entering the sign of its detriment Libra on the 7th. This is a diplomatic energy that will be opposing Saturn and Neptune in Aries which are both retrograde. This will bring an awareness of where you might be moving forward too fast and where you need to pump the brakes, to bring in some strategy that will aid in your process. This can be very frustrating for both Libra and Aries. Aries feels stagnant and unable to move forward and may also feel like everyone else is leaving without them. While Libra may feel like Mars is pushing them to move forward before they are ready. Don’t worry Aries and Libra. There will be a light at the end of the conflict by the 19th.
The Yang Wood Monkey makes its entrance on the 8th which will be great to counteract Mars with its serious and conflicting energy. The Monkey brings a sense of lightness and play. We need to remember to keep it light this month. Yang wood is the energy of family ties and connection. Monkeys are tricksters that can hurt feelings if they are not aware. It’s a good idea to filter your jokes and pranks until after the 11th when Mercury goes direct. Tigers might struggle with this energy as they like to get down to business and focus on serious matters at hand, while the monkeys like to swing freely from vine to vine. I’ve been reflecting on the Full Moon at °17 Aquarius that will be happening on the 9th. It’s been almost one year since my mother passed away during last year’s Aquarius full moon. Her sun sign was Aquarius, and boy did she ever fit the description. She was random and funny and always wanted to be free to do as she pleased. Trying to put her in a box was not a good idea, as she would make sure she found her way out of it. She would have hated the energy of the upcoming full moon. Because it will require you to let go of what holds you back from being original, while also compromising on things that you are stubbornly holding onto that don’t really matter anymore. Ask yourself with this full moon…. Do I really want to die on that hill of principle? Or can I just move on and let it go?
The New moon at °00 Virgo on the 22nd is connected to a Yod. A Yod in astrology or the Finger of God points to a turning point for the collective and a brand-new start. You can take advantage of this great energy by focusing on where you want to be of service. How can you serve your health or start a new routine?
